KCRCO Board Member Recruitment

Do you want to be part of an exciting organization in our community? The Kittitas County Recovery Community Organization has an open board position and we would love for you to join us!

The mission of the Kittitas County Recovery Community Organization is to promote long-term recovery from substance use disorders through education, advocacy and recovery support services, resulting in healthier individuals, families, and communities.

Our current board members are active in the expansion of the KCRCO through their work in their identified areas on the board. We are a board that is currently very busy and we do a lot of work outside of our once a month board meetings. Thus, you would need to commit to 8 hrs of work toward the KCRCO in each month.

Keeping in line with one of our core values at the KCRCO we will give preference to applicants who are in recovery, or, are a family member of a person who is in recovery from a substance use disorder. This does not preclude any other applicants from applying and we will give consideration to all applications. We would love to see applicants who have expertise or experience with non-profit management, publicity/marketing, or human resources.

This is an exciting time for the KCRCO as we have been experiencing rapid growth over the last several months. We desire a board member who will join us and add to our excitement and energy to keep the KCRCO moving forward.

If you are interested please send a letter of interest to the board at: KCRCO@gmail.com with a CC to: kcrcoinfo@gmail.com. We will accept letters of interest through Jan 7th, 2022. with the plan to make our decision by January 21st, 2022. The position open has a term of Jan 1st, 2022, through Dec 31st, 2023.
