Our mission is to develop a recovery community with barrier free access to the recovery support, care, and resources needed to achieve long-term recovery, and the ability to become integral members of our community.

Our group of staff and volunteers work to promote long-term recovery through education, advocacy and support services—resulting in healthier individuals, families, and communities.

Ellensburg Services

  • Access to information

    Use of a desk and laptop for job and educational searches. Access to staff to help with creation of resume/cover letter or help with applying to schools or jobs.

  • Library

    Our in office library is growing and ready for you to check out! We have numerous books surrounding many stories and topics to support a life in recovery. All available to check out, come by and see what appeals to you!

  • Peer Support

    The KCRCO Peer Support Specialist assists and supports peers toward resources to aid in recovery. Come in and ask for our Peer Support Specialist to receive assistance!

  • What's Brewing?

    Join us in the 2nd Thursday of each month form 4-5pm for our NEW All-Inclusive Recovery Circle! We’ll enjoy sharing the struggles of recovery and how we overcome them, while we enjoy coffee, tea, and cookies in a safe, like-minded space! Bring a smile, come with an open mind, and lean in as you help other peers on their recovery journey!

  • Recovery Yoga

    Join us every Wednesday at 5pm in our building for basic Hatha/Vinyasa style yoga with focus on linking breath with movement, led by Anita. This event is funded by the Kittitas County Health Network. Great for beginners, equipment provided!!

  • Crochet with Purpose

    Crochet is another great hobby to reduce anxiety and enjoy in a group setting. Join Cheri Long the 2nd Thursday each month from 5:30-7:00pm in our building for an evening to crochet, learn new tips, or follow along on projects!

  • First Friday Art Walk

    The first Friday of each month we showcase one artist within the community through an open house gallery walk from 5-7PM in our building. Each artists’ work is up for viewing the entire month of the event! Contact us if you would like to be a featured artist.

  • Family Connection

    Family Connection is held on the 4th Thursday of each month at 6pm. This is a great event for families with younger children to gather and spend quality time together. During summer months Family Connection is held at different parks around Ellensburg. (On hold)

  • 509Teens

    The 4th Friday of each month from 6-8pm we provide a night of fun for teens in Kittitas County. Events could include games, movie nights, and more! This is a free event led by Youth Specialist Levi McGhee and is open to all teens aged 12-17. Check out @509_teens on Instagram and @509teens_kcrco on TikTok for event information.

  • Feelin' Crafty

    Join us in our office for different forms of crafts and art projects the 4th Tuesday of each month from 4:30-6pm. All materials provided and open to all ages!

  • REC Time

    Join KCRCO Board Member Sarah Cannon in REC Time! Each month REC Time will engage in outdoor recreational activities and even collaborate with other KCRCO events! Check the calendar to see what’s going on this month. (On Hold)

  • Table Tennis

    This event is held the 3rd Monday of each month from 4-5pm. Come battle a friend in an epic showdown of table tennis! All materials, snacks, and beverages provided during this event.

  • Karaoke Nights

    Sing your favorite songs in our office the third Tuesday of each month from 6-8pm. Come with your favorite song in mind!

  • Reiki

    We are now offering Reiki once a month at the KCRCO! Message us to reserve a 30 min session or hear more info. There are 4, 30 minute sessions available the 3rd Thursday of each month from 1-4pm. Don’t miss out!

  • Lunch & Learn

    Join us once a month for an opportunity to learn about topics within the recovery field. All Lunch and Learns are open to the community, lunch provided. Check out our calendar to see if we have a presentation this month!

  • Quarterly Narcan Trainings

    Our office hosts quarterly NARCAN trainings presented by the Kittitas County Public Health Department. Learn how to administer NARCAN and other tips if you encounter an overdose.
